We are very disappointed with the Trump Administration’s statements regarding the potential future of the vaping industry, including the production and consumption of flavored e-liquids, e-cigarette devices, and Electronic Nicotine
First and foremost, we would like to reassure our customers that the products we sell are safe and are not responsible for any of the issues that have been prevalent in the media as of late. Our products are lab tested and carefully selected based on the highest quality of ingredients and production.
To clarify, what you have been hearing recently in the news regarding illnesses that have allegedly developed as a result of vape products is misleading and must be addressed. There are two types of products that can be vaped, THC (marijuana) and eliquid. The chemical in question causing the recent outbreak of lung-related illness is called tocopheryl acetate, or Vitamin E acetate, and was used in THC vape cartridges, not nicotine vape products. This chemical has never been used in any product sold by eJuice Direct. This chemical is never used in nicotine based vape products. eJuice Direct does not and has not ever carried or sold any THC products. Unfortunately, the news has been combining these two very different products under the singular term “vape."
Electronic cigarettes have proven to be a safer alternative to combustible cigarettes, and flavors are a vital part of many adults’ path toward quitting smoking. Eliminating them from the market is going to put millions of lives in danger of the continued negative health impacts of combustible cigarettes.
President Trump has also indicated his concern regarding underage use of electronic cigarettes. eJuice Direct is completely on board with this concern. Therefore, eJuice Direct has always, and will always, continue to keep the strictest safeguards in place to prevent underage purchasing and consumption.
Therefore President Trump's misleading statements regarding vape and making it sound like all vape is the same, whether THC or nicotine, are creating a platform for an unnecessary ban. This is the culmination of a systematic attack against our life-saving industry.
This industry is important to all of us. Since 2014, our mission has always been to provide safe, quality products to our consumers. This is a time when all of us need to stick together and work together to spread an accurate message about vaping and the vape industry, and make sure that everyone understands the truth. eJuice Direct has always been on the forefront of ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations in our industry. We are strongly against the use of our products by minors and have safeguards in place to ensure that our products are never delivered to a minor. While we are ourselves upset that some minors are able to attain ENDS products and use them, we fear that a ban on flavored products will only create a black market. This will lead to more dangerous products on the market, and will eliminate the ability for many smokers to switch to a safer alternative.
We at eJuice Direct hope that the government will be persuaded to reverse course on this, and we plan on serving our customers for many years to come.
