How to Maintain your Vape Gear

Coil and Tank

• Check your tank or pod for cracks or leaks, especially if it has been dropped. Leaky e-Liquid is never fun, and it can result in a sticky mess and hands covered in vape juice. Nicotine can be absorbed through the skin, so be sure to keep your hands free of e-juice by handling leaks as soon as you notice them.
• Replace your tank if it is broken or cracked, or after a year or so. Plastic tanks age more quickly than glass, as plastic can absorb flavors and make your e-juice taste muddied.
• Be sure to replace your coil as soon as it provides a burnt taste or looks dark brown or black. This will ensure a clean puff of flavor and prevent your vape kit from overpowering and burning the cotton.

Batteries and Charging Port

• Avoid leaving your vape device or batteriescharging for longer than they need to, as over-charging can wear out the internal mechanisms and the battery will not hold a charge as long over time, just like with a smartphone.
• Replace your batteries every year or so, or as soon as they begin to not hold a charge. Using a new wall charger can also help you keep your device charged or bring extra batteries with you on the go!
• Always keep your charging port clean and clear of dust or debris; this can cause an inconsistent charging connection, and your device will not charge as quickly or efficiently as it can.

The Device Itself

• Just like with any expensive piece of technology, try to avoid dropping or hitting your vape. Internal parts can be damaged or broken, leading to a malfunctioning device.
